For high school students interested in exploring certain subjects before making a decision about their secondary education career, Brandeis University has the program for you! Located in Waltham, Massachusetts, Brandeis is a private research university that offers four distinct courses that high school students ages 13 and up can choose to explore: Civil Litigation, Environmental Science, Women’s Health, and Global Health. All courses are available online year-round and feature video content by Brandeis faculty. Additionally, students will also have access to live sessions with University mentors.
Regarding the program itself, courses are available in 2- and 4-week sessions with a cost of
$995. Scholarships are also available for those needing assistance with the program cost. Upon completing the course, Brandeis University will issue you a Certificate of Completion. The application process is simple as well: simply submit (1) basic contact information for you and your parent/guardian and (2) a statement on why you wish to take the course and what your story is; no transcripts or letters of recommendation required!
