AP Review Videos

Resource 2 – AP YouTube Videos – Free

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, CollegeBoard uploaded a series of YouTube videos for each section in the Course Overview for every AP class. Each AP exam has its own playlist on the CollegeBoard YouTube Channel This was in order to help supplement or provide lessons for sections that students may not yet have covered in school. These videos are often extremely helpful and teach the concepts concisely and help supplement any topics which students may struggle with during class. However, as the videos are often long, it is useful to save these for concepts that you are struggling with rather than as videos to learn concepts for the first time. Don’t feel that you have to watch every video for each class as this is not the most effective use of this resource.

For AP Seminar and AP Research, the videos help further explain the expectations for the reports that are required for each class. The videos will help clear up any confusion and help guide you when making outlines and a direction for your paper.

Heimler’s History provides great review videos for both APUSH and AP World History. The channel is run by an AP grader and teacher. In addition, the channel has a wide variety of resources and guides detailing how to maximize your points when writing DBQs, LEQs, and SAQs.

AP Classroom also provides detailed review videos for all subjects for each section of each AP Subject which can be accessed by going to myap.collegeboard.org.
